I remember John Lennon dying ohhhhhh seeing adults crying
while on tv, it all became a twisted dream, for they shadow me
Now in New York with my lover words, singing upon my ears
it’s then i look down, with your hand grasping so tightly mine
To see a ghost of a billions tears laying here, dying next to his dear
for his song, was deemed just to strong, so they declared be gone
Now It’s time to go, for life towers all round, so my dear let us show
how to dance across roof tops, while our minds shine a coloured star
Yes words can be to bright and burn those who feel there might
and yes we can hold on, far to long, upon there exquisite delight
Still its those, who make us grow, even tho we must learn to let go
for an adult to know and then declare, I’m free to see.......
.....We must surely learn, to show our own.
